New Passport
For passports that completed ten (10) years from the date of issuance or passports that have been lost, stolen or damaged.
- Filled-out New Passport Application Form
- Four (4) passport sized photos
- Copy of the Old Passport
- Copy of Nationality Certificate or Birth Certificate
- For lost, stolen or damaged passports the following should be presented to the Embassy:
- An original police report
For Students:
- Applicant must provide the Embassy with an Original Letter from University/ School verifying full time student status since date of entry to the U.S. Full time students are exempted from National Tax.
- Fee is $81.00.
For Housewives:
- Applicant must provide the Embassy with a copy of the Marriage Certificate if the occupation on the passport does not indicate as housewife.
- Fee is $81.00
For Laborer:
- Applicant must pay the National Tax of $75.00 for each year since the date of entry to the U.S. OR from the year the passport was last renewed up to the year 2005.
- Fee is $81.00
Important Note:
Applicants sending their applications by mail must furnish the Embassy with a return envelope with tracking no. (postage/shipment paid by the applicant) using one of the services listed below. Failure to send one may cause delay in the return of the passport (s).

- All payments must be payable to Embassy of Sudan.
The normal processing time for New Passport may take at least three (3) months. Please allow sufficient time to process application of New Passport.
- Please remember to write clearly and complete the entire application form. Failure to do so may result in a longer processing time.
