Arab leaders support Sudan in facing ICC

The 21st Arab League Summit has announced their support and solidarity with Sudan to face the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against President Omer Hassan Al Bashir.
In the closing session, the Arab League Secretary General, Amro Musa, said that the Arab leaders reject what they described as threats to peace in Sudan.
Meanwhile, President Omer Al-Bashir welcomed the Summit's decision and said that the efforts of the Arab countries to establish peace in Sudan are fully appreciated by the Sudanese government.
The Arab Summit further declared its support to the efforts of voluntary and humanitarian work in Darfur.
The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim, said that the Arab leaders have decided to annually allocate an amount of 8 million dollars to Sudan. The Final Statement of the 21st Arab Summit represents a clear regional solidarity with the Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir.
