Khartoum, Marsh 5 (SUNA)- The Leadership of the political parties and organizations including the trade unions, the businessmen, artists, media men, sport leadership, sophists sects, women and youth, have reaffirmed their rejection for any attempt seeking to undermine the Sudan and its National Sovereignty in the person of the President of the Republic.

The representatives of the various sectors have pointed out in the meeting with the President of the republic field marshal Omar al Bashir that the decision of the ICC against the head of the state was but another ring of the plots and conspiracies that target the Sudan people, its unity and territorial integrity.

 They called for the formation of a broad based front that groups all the national elements with the view to defend the homeland against all attempts seeking to undermine its invariables and principles. General Abul Magid Hamid Khalil who addressed the meeting had said it was time for all to unite their ranks and to come together on issue relevant to the homeland, stressing that the elements common for all the Sudanese people are much more than elements that divides them.

He said the armed forces would remain a shield protecting the homeland against any foreign aggression. The representative of the Unionist Party al Sayed Al-Hindi has called for developing the bilateral accords between his party and the National Congress into an all-inclusive front. The singer Mohamed Wardi has stressed the need for the national unity that would be blessed by all the Sudanese people. The head of the Revolutionary committees, has said the head of the state, President Omar al Bashir shall never be affected or reached by any one, as he is the son of the strong Sudanese people.
